装丁もタイトルもキャッチーでつい買いたくなる本だが、内容としては、まあ、一般的な「住宅本」に書かれているような内容を２倍くらいに希釈して書いた本。多分、実際に家を買おうと思って数冊以上の本を読んでいる人間にとっては購入の必要はない本だろう。

各章で映画に例えた比喩が出てくるが、それもうざったい。
