最近、ノート術に関する本がたくさん出版されていますが、勉強に関するノート術に特化している点が特徴です。本書の中心になっているコーネル大学方式が実用的かどうかは疑問もありますが、ノート術以外、勉強術には参考になる点もありました。
たとえば、マトリクス法。情報を分類、整理しすれば、足りないものもわかるし、なによりも頭にスッキリ入るという著者の説明は説得力がありました。

　「コーネル大学式ノート作成法」として日本でも知られているノートの
書き方と６段階学習法と呼ばれるものを紹介しながら、これらの手法を、
英語や数学などの科目特性に適応させたノート作成法、（受験）勉強法の
説明になっている。

　特にこの方法論がすごいわけではなく、ものごとを学び、記憶し、定着化
させようとするときの向き合い方のことを言っているのだと理解した。

　いわゆる反復学習による「丸暗記」というスタンスから、理解に基づき
ポイントポイントを連想記憶で結んで定着化させていくというような感じ
なのかもしれない。

　学んだことを自分なりに「再構成」して記憶定着化させてゆくメタ知識の
フレームワークの説明となっていることに気づきます。

　アタマが良くなるノーツ術というよりは、アタマが良い（効率的にもの
ごとを理解する）人というのはこういうやり方をしているのではないかと
いう例示。

　何か特定のテーマを持って読書したときとか、報告目的のミーティング
などのメモ書きなどとしてもこの方法は使えると思う。

高校生向けの本という感じ。
実際、高校時代にこれぐらいノートをうまく取っていたら、東大も夢じゃないかも。
帯にあるように、「知ってると知らないでは大違い」というのが実感できる本。
意欲のある中学生や、高校生向け。
黒板をだらだら写さず、頭を使って、ノートを取れということなんだな。
