　日本のファッション感覚とはちがうけれども、フランス特有のエレガンスのヒントが書かれていてとても面白かったです。勘違いを直すのにとても役立つと思いました。

15〜6年くらい前でしょうか。当時は淡いブルーの表紙だったこの本に
大変影響を受けました。本当に「エレガントな女性になりたい!」と強く思ったものです。
懐かしくてまた手に取りました。が、いまいちぴんと来ず...。

今ではこの手の本はあらゆる内容のものがたくさん出ているので、取り立ててこの本で
なくても、という気がしてしまいます。そして内容的にも今では違和感を感じる箇所もあり、
日本の方が書かれた本を読んだほうがいいのでは、と思います。

ただ、これから欧米へ行かれる、移住されるような方は読んでおいて損はないかも
しれません。

エレガンスの語源は、ラテン語のeligere「選ぶ」という意味。

TPOの基本中の基本を解説してくれるちゃんとしたHOW TO本を
手元に置いておくのも、悪くないんじゃないかと思う。

どの時代にも共通する｢失敗できない｣シーンでアイタタタ･･･と
ならない為にも、一読をオススメします。脱下流したい人も、是非。
