英語の勉強は、何よりも声を出して読むことが大切。だけど正しい発音がわからなければ読めませんよね。このCDを利用して、単語の正しい発音やアクセント、英文全体のイントネーションなども一緒に勉強し、本文を繰り返し声に出して読むようにしていけば、受験にもきっと役立つと思います。

　大学受験だけでなく、大学院受験にも使用した。
単語は、英文から覚えるのが鉄則で、内容が面白いので
つい夢中になってしまう。
大学4年生になると、英文解釈や英文法は忘れて
しまうのであるが、英語の内容を耳から聞いていると、
自然に覚えてしまう。通学時に2ヶ月聞いていると
フレーズが出てくる。上級者はテキストは特に必要ないかも
しれない。また、これ以上のテキストを無理に読まなくても
良いような気がする。

私は、必修編の本だけ使って北大に合格した。北大にはベストの単語集だったと思っている。
そして合格後にこのＣＤを買った。使い方としては、セールス文句の「聞くことでさらに覚える」といった効果は期待せず、ヒアリング対策に限定したほうがいいと思う。結果的に、副次効果はあるかもしれないが。なぜなら、文法・語彙というのは、やはり文字ベースで覚えていったほうがはるかにスピードが早いし、日本人はネイティブではないのだから、あまりにナチュラルな覚え方にこだわらず、学問的な勉強法をとるべきなのだ。本のほうにしても、文脈で覚えるということにこだわりすぎず、最終的には単語羅列主体で覚えながら、覚えにくいものは文章の一部を例文代わりにして覚えた。さて、このＣＤはこれで役にたつ。一度本で覚えてしまった単語と文章しか出てこないので、聞いていて単語や文法で悩むことはない。素直に耳を慣らす練習に特化できる。何度もいうが、耳からも覚えたほうが覚えやすいというのは、セールス用のコピーであり、それを真に受けるのはいいお客さんすぎてあまりお勧めできない。インプットはインプット、ヒアリング演習はヒアリング演習である。即単で受験いどんだひとは、センターリス対策に、合格後のＴＯＥＩＣ対策の前段階として、買っておいても損はない。あくまで耳ならしとして。
