氏が同人誌とした発行したものを綺麗に表装しなおした本ですが、日本軍の正に“末期”な兵器をこれだけ詳細に記した数少ないムック。同人誌で買えなかった読者には吉報でしょう。
ただ純粋に兵器のみを紹介しておらず、フィクションの話と織り交ぜてあるのがマイナスポイント。
一部混乱してしまう部分も…本として面白さを持たせるためには仕方ないのかもしれませんが。

日本軍の終戦間際の兵器を知る資料として、おススメです。

大和やゼロ戦に埋れて資料を探すのに大変な旧日本軍の兵器
（ひとつ米軍の兵器もありますが）についての大まかではありますが、
それなりに詳しい資料です。

作者さんが、こまめに資料を集め、いちど同人誌として出版された物の
集約本ですが興味のある方は、所持しておく必要のある本でしょう。
私見ですが、瀬戸内海を埋め立てる勢いで投下された米軍の空中投下型機雷、
ＭＫ２５については特に必見の資料と思います。

こういう作風のミリタリーマンガがもっと世に出てくるといいですね〜。
しかし、マンガの後の解説文にちょっと蛇足が多いのが気になります。
例えば「ページが足りないので細かい説明を省きます」という内容のために
半ページくらい使っていたりしていて、それなら最初から説明できたのでは…と思ったりしました。
まあ、これは「こがしゅうと節」？とも言えますし、良く言えば同人らしさなのかもしれません。
個人的には、もう少し文章をシェイプアップして頂けると読みやすいかなと思い星4つにしました。
