漫画って、とかく悪く言われがちだけど、マンガ的な着眼点や漫画的な手法が見せる良質なおもしろさって、実はかなりレベルが高いと思うんです。馬場のぼるしかり、やなせたかししかり。という訳で、この絵本も、マンガ的なセオリーに乗っ取って描かれた名作だと思います。私が特に好きなのは、ゾウが何故か突然出て来るシーン。脈絡のなさ、突拍子のなさが、なんともいえぬアクセントになって、この絵本の魅力を倍増しています。オオカミがかわいそう、とか、弱肉強食とは、などと、難しい事は抜きにして、笑い飛ばして読みたい、良質のナンセンス絵本です。ギャグ漫画好きの子供にも、ギャグ漫画嫌いの子供にも、両方にオススメ。

　足のとっても遅いオオカミが、どうしてもブタを食べたくて、ブタのたねをまきました。
ブタがたくさんなったのですが・・・
　先日小学１年生に読み聞かせしたところ、「ブタにたねなんてないよー！」といっていた子が、木にたわわになったブタをみて大喜び！
結末もにやりとしたくなります。

　線と色のはっきりしたユーモラスな絵と、テンポのよい文章がたのしい、おすすめ絵本です。

足の遅いおおかみが主人公です。
どれくらい足が遅いかというと、ぶたよりも遅い。
だから、まだ一度もぶたを食べたことがありません。
なんとかぶたを食べてみたいと、おおかみはきつねはかせに相談しました。
きつねはかせは、「ぶたのたね」をくれました。
さっそくぶたのたねを植えて育てたところ、
木の枝にたくさんのぶたが実りました。
ところが……


　４歳の娘に読んであげたところ、ちょっとトホホなおおかみさんが気に入ったようです。
