なんか今年のRIJフェスの出演者第１弾発表のとき泉谷しげるの名前を見つけたとき、第2弾では麗蘭の出演発表があり、清志郎が飛び入りで参加するんじゃないかってぼんやりと思っていた。そうなったらイイなぁって

そしてこの人はどこかでずっと生きてそうな感じがした

先月2日の夜まで

新聞での「ロック界のカリスマの死」って活字、特に”カリスマ”って単語にピンとこなかった

この本の構成は清志郎のインタビューの再録4本、グラビア、関係者のメッセージ、坂本龍一インタビュー、中でも旧知の間柄である渋谷陽一がインタビュアーのチャボのインタビューはかなり読み応えがあり、亡くなって1ヵ月での緊急発売としてはかなり良質な追悼号だと思う。

あとアーティストの追悼号にありがちな（ここぞとばかりの）レコード会社やCDショップのバックカタログの宣伝など広告スペースがなく、ほぼ１００％記事（ディスコグラフィーを含む）もしくは写真掲載であったのには好感をもった。

仲井戸“CHABO”麗市が渋谷陽一のインタビューに応じている。
その事実だけで、この本の持つ重みは十分伝わるだろう。

清志郎インタビュー再録は計4本。何十回、何百回（？）とインタビューをした
渋谷陽一自身が厳選した、選りすぐりの4本と言えるのだろう。
渋谷陽一の巻頭コメント、そして山崎洋一郎による巻末コメントも、胸に響くものだった。

何よりビジュアル。表紙に使われた1989年の写真。カメラマンとのコンタクトが
とれなかったらしいが、それでも、この写真を表紙にしたかった渋谷陽一の思い。
いい表紙だ。

今まで清志郎のインタビュー記事をそれほど真剣に読んでこなかった私なんかは、
どのインタビューも新鮮に読めて新しい発見ばかりで良かったです。
まるで実際そこで清志郎が語っているように「声」として聞こえてくる感じです。

もし本書が、複数のプロのライターによる「清志郎論」のような追悼論文集であったら
そもそも購入していなかったと思います。しかし本書はそのようなものではありません。
清志郎が実際インタビューで語ったことを読み手が感じ取り、そこから各人がそれぞれ清志郎という人に
思いを馳せる、そのためのインタビュー集というところが良いです。

また、思ったより写真が多く、珍しいものもありました。
特にMジャガーとのツー・ショットには驚きました（ミックの髪型から90年初来日時の写真と思われます）。
「えっ、清志郎って、ミックと面識あったの？」

終わりのほうに略歴や、ディスコグフィーもあります。それほど詳しくはありませんが
いろいろ活動して来た人だけに、整理のための資料としては有効ではないかと思います。

最期を看取って、ひつぎを担ぎ、焼き場まで行ったチャボでさえ、「死んだなんて、まったく実感がわかない」
とインタビューで答えています。そんな境遇にない一般人はなおさらです。
ましてや、清志郎の声が聞こえてくるかのような本書を読むにいたっては
「いや、清志郎は死んでない、生きている」と思いたくなりました。
