帯買いしてしまった１巻、のめり込んだ末の２巻と続いて、
今回はもう棚に並んでいるのを発見した瞬間にレジへＧＯでした（苦笑

そんなわけで抜群の安定感と人気を誇る香辛料の第３弾です。
１巻や２巻と比べると今回は分かりやすくなった気がします。
あー、むしろ１と２をちゃんと読んでいないとかえって難しいのか……？
とりあえず、新しい商業用語はさほど増えなかった気がするので
シリーズを通読している方なら間違いないでしょう。
逆にこれから読もうという方はちゃんと最初からの方が良いです。


さて、通読している方向けに今回の見所を一つ。
今回もまた騒動に巻き込まれるホロとロレンスなわけですが、

ささいな誤解からロレンスは絶体絶命の窮地に。
手放したくない大切な「積荷」を守るための一発逆転の秘策、
ロレンスは「信用買い」の取引を持ちかけることに……。

と、前回手痛い目にあった「信用買い」で勝負に出るという展開がなかなか痛快です。
詳しいことは是非とも読んでお確かめ下されば幸いかと。

シリーズ３作目です。
３作目から始めても読めると思いますが、
やはり１作目からの通読をお勧めします。

なにしろ、今回は主人公２男女の些細な擦れ違いから事件が発生するのです。

基本的には前２作経てどうに入った２人の掛け合いを通じ、
徐々にストーリーが展開し、中盤以降一気に商人バトルに突入する仕掛けは健在です。

新人の作家さん故、一作ずつ人物描写の実験が見られ、
これからが楽しみな方です。

前２作を読まれ、楽しいと感じた方なら同様に楽しめるでしょう。

第3巻はホロとロレンスのバカップルぶりを見せ付けられ、それに翻弄されるかわいそうな人々の話になってます。
ホロもロレンスだけが大好きで、ロレンスもホロがいなければ行商なんて出来なくなってもいいとまで想ってしまっているのがよくわかります。
商人や駆け引きの面白さなどもあります。
ロレンス視点で書かれているのでホロの動きや感情が読者にバレないようになっていて、
決別の危機を抱えながら、スピーディかつ絶望的な中での商人バトルには前作の破産の危機以上の危機感を持てます。
ロレンスと一緒にホロを失うような気持ちになれるので存分にハラハラもさせられます。
しかし、最後はこの人騒がせなバカップルに天誅を願ってしまうかもｗ
また、この世界にはホロのような者が複数存在することもわかり、世界観に奥行きと幅がだんだんと表現されてきました。
とりあえずいいたいことはホロかわいすぎ。
