「日本語を覚えたのに、苦労したんでしょう。これ読んでみて！」と同僚に渡されたこの本。一時間もたたないで、読んでしまいました。
日本語の勉強をし始めたのはもう10年前ですけど、漢字、擬態語・擬音語という日本語の特徴と戦い、間違ってもしゃべり続けて、日本人を笑わされたことはたくさんあったと思います。(^_^)
外国人が出るマンガ、映画、本、テレビドラマはたくさんありますけど、この本のすごいところは、外国人を馬鹿にしないことです。メディアで多く見る偏見だらけの描写はこの本になく、とても新鮮です。早速何冊を買って、日本語を教えていただきました先生方に送りました。
日本語教育と縁がなくて、外国人の知り合いがいなくても、楽しめます。

内容の素晴らしさについてはいくつものレビューが並んでいるので、改めて付け加えることも
ございませんが、ひとつだけ残念な点を挙げると…

なんか、ページがスカスカな感じなんですよね。全体に白いというか…
このお値段で、この絵の密度なのは、ちょっと割高感を覚えます。

特に、キャラクターの顔の上半分しかない大きなコマがズラッと並んでたりすると、言いたく
ないけど「…手抜き？」とか思ってしまいます。

あと、１ページのスペースに４コマ１本だけとか…ちょっと、余白が空きすぎじゃないでしょ
うか？

そこだけが気になったので、あとの内容は素晴らしいです。絵の可愛さも内容にマッチしてて
楽しく読むことができました。


もし次の巻がでるのなら、もうちょっと１ページ当たりの密度を濃くしてほしいのと、あと、
趙さんとダイアナさんの恋の行方をぜひ教えてほしいと思います！

すごく面白いし、そういわれてみると、日本語を話していても、日本語について知らないことっていろいろあるよな〜ということに気づかせてくれる本です。たとえ母国語であっても、語学の勉強は一生ものだということがわかります。
ただ、いちいち章を区切る扉に１ページを使い、クイズももっとあってもいいのに余白の部分がやたらと多い。１ページの中に、４コマ漫画が１本だけのページも多数で、やっぱり余白が多い・・・なので、ちょっと物足りない印象です。２冊目を書くために、ネタを小出しにしているのか？もっと内容が濃くてもよい感じです。もっと面白いエピソードがたくさんあるのでは？
