『神様のおきにいり』です。
このレーベルにしては、萌え要素はあまりありません。
展開はドタバタしてはいますが、シリアスです。いや、シリアスというには、ホラーではなく、随分とほのぼのとした雰囲気ではありますが。

神様、あるいは妖怪が多数登場します。そういったものに対する解釈、人間との距離感が良いですね。妖怪ではあっても、キャラクターとして個性的でした。
最後は、主人公が父親を乗り越えて成長していく、というよくある手法ではありますが、独特な空気の作品をよく纏めていたと思います。
派手さやインパクトはそれほどではありませんが、じんわり染み入ってくる良作だと思いました。

妖怪が柔らかいタッチで物語に登場しており、妖怪につきまとう怖いイメージはまるでありません。
ただ、この作品はヒロインが誰かまるでわからないので、「萌え」の要素を期待している方は控えたほうがよろしいかと。
主人公が高校一年生。この設定が一番応用の利く高校二年生じゃないところからも、そんなにラブコメ要素がないことを想像させる。
珠枝はヒロインとしては外見が幼すぎ、好香は逆に外見が二十歳すぎで歳をとっている。
同年代であるはずの瑞穂は地味過ぎ、真希はパンク系といったとっつきにくさ。
正直に言って女性陣に落差がありすぎて逆に違和感があるが、そこをきにしなければ普通に妖怪モノとして楽しめるはずです。

台詞の後に説明が付く独特の書き方にちょっととまどいつつも、独自の解釈による魅力的な登場人物、というか妖怪。一般的な常識と少しずつずれている妖怪と主人公のおもしろおかしいやりとり。それとは裏腹に神妙なストーリー。時間を忘れて読めた１冊です。
