ほんわかと親しみのもてる漫画とシンプルな言葉の数々によって、さりげなく「仏教」がわかってしまうシリーズの最終巻です。作者は「これは宗教の本ではありません」としつこく言っていますが、見事なまでに仏教の本質をついています。しかも恋愛やプライドから生じる個人的な、されど普遍的な悩みを題材に話をすすめていくので、とてもとっつきやすいです。

ただ、この三巻目は、ほかの二冊にくらべると少し理屈っぽい感じするかもしれません。仏教のキーワードである「四苦八苦」が解説されたり、知覚心理学を参照したりしていますので。まあ、圧倒的にわかりやすく紹介されているので、このシリーズの路線からは少しも外れてはいないのですが。

ボクたちが苦しむ根源は比較の中で生きることだったんですね。そうだSMAPも「世界に一つだけの花」で歌っているよね。

「自分ってなぁに？」って問い続けることも時間があるのならいいけど、そんなことしなくてもただ自分を見つめる、それだけで良かったんだね。

ブタに導かれて人生を学ぶ本です（笑）
全編４コマ漫画。とぼけたブタの絵と簡潔な文章。力を抜いてするする読めてしまいます。
ついつい理屈をつけて解決しようとする人間の悪いクセを、この“とぼけたブタ”が感覚（潜在意識）に訴える方法で、わかりやすく正してくれる、面白くてためになる一冊です。
