毎日目標を定めずに過ごし、先の人生を考えることを避けている人にはぜひ読んでほしい。
まさに私がこのような考え方で毎日を過ごしていたが、そうはいっていられない状況になり、この本が新聞広告に載ったことを機に読んでみた。
「人生は旅である」と同様に、「成功は旅である」と著者は言う。その旅を充実したものにするために、さまざまな成功者の言葉を引用し、ものの考え方や心構えを教えてくれる。
訳者が「赤と緑のボールペンを使うように」言っているが、気になる言葉を赤で抜き出し、自分のことを緑でノートに書いてみると、今まで避けていた自分の先の人生をまじめに考えられるようになってくる（気がしてくる）。
引用されている成功者の言葉を読むだけでも、やる気がわいてくる本だといえる。

誰しも憧れや夢をお持ちだと思います。
しかし、どうやってその夢にアプローチすればいいか
どこにエネルギーを注げばいいのか、
どうすれば効率のいい努力となるのか
そのあたりが悩みの種だと思います。
その答えが本書にあります。

成功するには何が必要か、成功を旅として捉え、旅のゴールに向かっていくための道のりをどう歩むべきかが記載されています。
この本で、人の成長を望むことの大切さ、あきらめないことの大切さ、人生の目標を持つことの意義と成功への法則をいくつか学びました。
