３０歳を前に、公務員からの転職を考えたときにこの本を手にしました。この本を読んだことで、一歩踏み出す勇気がわいてきたのは事実です。訳者自身も「成功者」であり、説得力を盛り上げているように思います。「健全なうぬぼれ」「夜明け前が一番暗い」この２節が未だに頭に残っていて、現在夢に向かっている私の座右の銘？とも言えますね。何か一歩踏みだそうとしている人には絶対お勧めできます。自分の行動に勇気と自信を与えてくれます！

失敗はつきもの。
その失敗を失敗のまま終わらせるのか、何度もチャレンジして成功に結び付けていくのか、自分の考え方次第ですね。

不幸の専門家、皮肉屋に近づいていいことは何もありません。

ただ、前向きに、ひたすら前向きになりたい人にはお薦めに一冊です。

最後に、
「働きすぎる人間など見たことがない。うんと働け、長時間働け、というのが私の信念だ。人間は過労が原因で死にはしない。浪費と悩みが原因で死ぬのだ。」チェールズ・エバンズ・ヒューズ
とは、名言です。

自分を力づけてくれる良い言葉が多く書かれていて、読み終わるとすごく元気が出ます。ただし、全体が体系付けられている訳ではないです。
