京セラを一代でグループ数万人の大企業グループに育て上げた著者の力作(？)。
とても良い事が書いてあります。これだけ短期間で大企業に育て上げるためには
相当に冷酷非情なこともしなければならない局面はいろいろあったはずと思いますが、
それらを経たからこそ、このような教材が生まれたのでしょう。
就活中の学生さんや新社会人、全般に若い人に一読お薦めします。

レビューワーは京セラに勤務経験があります。辞めて１年経ちますが。。
だから、本に書かれてあることと実態の違いを肌で分かっているつもりですが、そこら
辺りは理想と現実の違いということで割り切って見るしかないのでしょうね。
組織はきれい事だけでは動きません。

一つウラ事情を推測するに、この本の出版自体が、これまで中途社員主戦力の
京セラが新卒人材を育てて経営するよう大方針を切り替えてやって行こうとする
意思の表明と見ることもできるかもしれません。

人を育てるには時間とお金がかかるはずです。これまで良くも悪くも近視眼的な経営
を続けて来たこの会社にそれができるかどうか、僭越な言い方ながら、しばらく推移を
見守ろうと思いました。レビュワー自身にも勤務経験ある会社に愛憎含めた複雑な
感情がないことはないし、その戦略的判断の是非を現段階で言うことはできません。
だからこの本への評価も星３つにさせていただきました。

他のレビュワーの方も書かれているように、若い方向けの本なのかもしれません。
一方で、そうした若い方々にこれから仕事を教えていく、指導者の立場の方々にも改めて初心を思い出させてくれる一冊だと思います。私もそうした立場からこの本を読み、改めて仕事に対する身の置き場をリセットできたと思います。
平易な文体で分かりやすいですし、若い社員とベテラン、更には管理職の「共通言語」として役立つのではないでしょうか。同じ組織のメンバーで一緒に読みたい本です。
優れた経営者の方って実にシンプルに大切なことを伝えてくれるんですね、と実感した本でした。
