   なんでもすぐに「いやだ」って言うルルちゃん。それなら「かあさん」もだっこするのを「いやだ」って言うし、おいしいおやつだって悪い子のお口に行くのを「いやだ」って言うよ。おひさまも、保育園にはいて行く靴も、ぬいぐるみのくまちゃんだって「いやだ」って言うよ。

   「そうしたら　ルルちゃんは　どうするの？」。この最後の問い掛けには答えを言わずにお話は終わる。読んでいる子どもたちの心に、自然と答えが浮かぶような見事な構成だ。

   手と足を広げ、大きく口をあけて体いっぱいに「いや」を表しているルルちゃん。それに対抗するように、お母さんも眉毛をつりあげこわい顔で「いやだ」と叫んでいる。おやつも靴も、みんな本気でルルちゃんにぶつかっているのがいい。

   手でちぎったようなゆがみを生かした貼り絵が、やさしくてちょっと不思議な雰囲気を作っている。1969年発売の人気シリーズ「いやだいやだの絵本」（『にんじん』、 『もじゃもじゃ』、『ねないこだれだ』）の1冊。（門倉紫麻）

怒った顔とセリフばかりのこの本、「教育上どうかな？」と思い、しばらく本棚で眠っていました。
２才の息子の「いやいや」に嫌気がさしていたある日、ふとこの本を読み聞かせました。自分の怒りをありったけ込めて１冊読んだら、あらあら不思議、私の気持ちがすっきり！以来、子供の不機嫌から私の気持ちが煮詰まったときには、息子にこの本を読むようにしています。

「いいかげんにしなさい！」と私の言葉で怒るよりも、私の良心がとがめたり後悔したりすることもなく、上手くストレス解消できます。子供も、本の言葉を私の怒りと受けとめるようなことはなく、ただ面白い本を読んでもらって楽しい、という反応をしています。

せなけいこさんは、怒りやおばけなど裏の世界を絵本にする天才です！

娘が２歳前後の頃はまりました。
なんでもかんでも「イヤイヤ」のこの時期。
一見、否定的な感じのする本ですが、子供はこの本を読んで自分を客観視することをおぼえたようです。
３歳半の現在は、お姉ちゃんぶって「いやいやなんてルルちゃんいかんねぇ！」などと言っております。君もそうだったんだよ。。。

こどもが何かにつけていやだいやだというので、この本を読み聞かせてあげます。そして、ほら、ルルちゅん泣いてるよ、みんな遊んでくれないよといって、言い聞かせています。娘が２歳の頃よく読んであげました
本じたいは気に入っているようでした
