広野紘の目線で描かれています。
宮村みやことの出会いから、彼がどう結論を出すかまでの話。
アニメしか知らない方には多少のネタバレがありますし、若干シナリオも違っています。

原作者が著者ということもあり、色眼鏡を通したアニメとはキャラの性格など多少の違いは
あります。なので原作ファンなら違和感なく読めるのではないかと。

同時発売のｋｅｉも上に同じ。
こちらは堤京介の目線で描かれています。
アニメでは同時間軸でストーリーは進みますが、小説版では違う時間軸で話が進んでいます。

二段構成で読み辛いのと、表紙は七尾奈留なのに挿絵は別人なのがマイナス要因かな？
早く千尋シナリオが読みたいです。

アニメからはいったので
小説の中では幻想的な描写があまりなくて物足りなかった。
ストーリー自体はアニメと乖離したものではなく、
さらに文自体もよみやすいのでサクサク読める点は評価できる。
ただ残るものがあまりないともいえる。
あくまで副次的な意味合いが強く
本単体としてはそこまで評価はできない。
