色々と不倫の本、愛人の本などなど読んでみたのですが、一番論理的にクリアに感じた本です。「愛人の掟」シリーズは、分らなくもないけど美化しすぎじゃない？という感じ。やはり、本当に愛し合っているならその二人がくっつくのが自然でしょう。それに辛いなら私なら辞めます、辛い辛いとネガティブな言葉を吐かないと続かないようなことをすることを自分に許すことはしません。「不倫の恋に苦しむ夫たち」系シリーズもほぼ読破したけど、やはり暗かったです…読んでいて気分が沈みます。この本が私には一番感情的で受け身な女になっておらず、ドライな感性で好印象でした。主体的で、明るかったです。

「結果的にくっつかない」不倫の本質を上手く表現しています。積み重ねや、結果を求めない関係を「スキーやレジャーに行ったらただ楽しいだけで満足なはず、それと同じ」。また、既婚男性とシングル女性のケースは「男がおもちゃをほしがるところから始まる」と表現していてかなり的確、冷静に事態を見ることが可能になる言葉です。さすが個人的経験からだけでなく、作家の感性で多くのケースをリサーチしていると感じました。
また、シングル女性の不倫と既婚女性のそれの感覚の違いなど、納得出来る部分が多く勉強になった一冊です。また、不倫する夫にとっての妻の存在とは何かをとても納得いく説明をされていて、分りやすかったです。あとは、不倫を普通の恋愛と分けすぎる傾向（普通の恋愛だって上手くいくかどうか分らないのと不倫も基本は同じ）などなど。

すっきりしました。この本のおかげで、不毛な不倫関係を切る決意ができたので。家庭を壊さない程度で付き合いたいと強引に迫られ受け入れてしまった反省もありますが、身を引けたことは正しいと。

どんな恋愛でも多少の障害がある。
結婚できない可能性がほぼ100％に近いこと以外、「不倫」「浮気」って言葉にそんなに拘らなければいけないのだろうか？
この本を読んでいると、どんな形であれ誰かを心から愛しいと思い、側にいたいと願うことが決して悪いことではないのだと実感させられた。
引け目を感じる必要もないのだと。

自分らしくあること、それが何をするにも大切で、無理せずにいられる一番の秘訣だと思う。
とかく自信を無くしがちな「不倫」という名の恋愛をもっと自分らしく胸を張っていられるようにゆっくりと諭してくれる一冊でした。
