2.0 out of 5 stars ミステリというよりSF, 2008/10/7
医療現場のリアルな描写をカラフルな人物でコミカルかつ軽快に「バチスタ」にすっかり魅せられ、続編も迷わず手に取りましたが、今回は失敗に終わりました。

まずこれはＳＦです。（別に宇宙人は出てきませんが・・・）同じ病院で繰り広げられる医療ミステリ仕立てですが、謎はかなり後にならないと出てきません。（冒頭にさわりはありますが）そして、おおよその展開は途中で予想がついてしまいます。謎解きの部分はあまりに非現実的なので白けます。特にエンディングに向けての結び方は強引かつ不自然で違和感を感じます。

個性豊かなキャラの描写はしっかり健在ですが、登場人物が多すぎガチャガチャしています。そして今回のメインの女子キャラには感情移入できません。

文章はこなれてきているし、医療現場の描写は面白いので、次回作に期待して星２つ。

「ナイチンゲールの沈黙」は確かにＳＦチックな領域もある作品です。ただ、この作品は「ジェネラルルージュの凱旋」と同時進行であるので、両方、読むべきでしょう。病院内での事件があちらこちらで同時におきている。医療現場の現実を感じさせてくれる作品です。随所に医療行政への問題提起もあります。海棠作品はサスペンスに重きをおいて読むべきではないと思います。白鳥調査官や田口医師の掛け合いなどを楽しむべきでしょう。病理医の先生がこれだけの文章を書いている。私にはこのことのほうが驚きでした。

「チーム・バチスタの栄光」がおもしろかったので、この本にも期待しましたが、
正直言ってちょっと残念です。
まず「バチスタ」のときと違って、客観的に話の内容を見ているようでした。
「バチスタ」では田口の『俺』が話を展開していたのに、今回は『田口』や『小夜』といった登場人物の名前によって展開されていたのが少しがっかりです。
親近感があまり持てないなと感じました。
それから、ストーリー自体にリアリティがないことにもがっかりしました。
他の方のレビューにもありましたが、これはSFに近いです。
ミステリが目的の方にはお勧めできません。
