　日本では占星学というと、当たる、はずれる、という問題にのみ執着されることが多い。事実、占ってもらう側にとってはそれが最も大事なことだから仕方がないのだが、占星学は、長い歴史の元に成り立った学問であり、様々な分野からのアプローチが可能であり、必要である。この本は、ユング心理学と占星学との関連を詳細に論じた、我が国では珍しい本格的な専門書である。占星学、心理学、双方に興味がある人に一読を勧めたい。

占星学に興味の無い人、にあえて読んで欲しい本です。占いなんて胡散臭いなーんて馬鹿にしているどちらかと言うと理系頭の男性なんか読んだらはまっちゃいそうな本です。占星学を学ばれている皆さん、これを読むと読まないとでは大違いです。こういう解釈もあるのか！と思う人もいるだろうし、うーんちょっと…と首をかしげる人もいるでしょう、しかしこの本自体は必読ですよ！！その他心理学を専攻している学生の方にも自身を持っておすすめします。そして可能ならば是非ともリズ．グリーンの原書‘Ｒｅｌａｔｉｎｇ’を英語で読んでください。
人生の舵取りの仕方は書いてありませんが…個人的に深く感動した一冊です。お薦めです。

現段階での心理占星学の代表作のひとつ。
1980年代ごろから心理占星学という名のもとに本が出始めました。
心理占星学の本来の姿からは不十分なインタープリテーションになって
います。占いの技法は消滅寸前の本来のアストロロジーからの逸脱や低次の無理な適用にすぎないのが実情です。
未来の心理占星学は、さまざまな局面をも体験しながら、本来の心理学および占星学の立場から論じられることになるでしょう。
それまでの過渡的な作品になっています。
占星学がどうのこうのと言う前に人間の精神という「未知」のものにたいする理解が必要です。本来のアストロロジーは人間の精神を問題にしています。
内容としてはとりあえず現時点で手元にある心理学にかかわるとされる素材をつなげてみましたということのようです。本書には「哲学」「思想」「理念」といった核となるものは見当たりません。本書はあくまでひとつの通過点とすべきであって、人間そのものへの理解を深めること、そのものを探求すべきでしょう。
