マルクス
1818‐1883。ドイツの経済学者、哲学者、革命家。20世紀においてもっとも影響があった思想家とされる。資本主義経済を分析し、エンゲルスと共に共産主義思想を打ち立てた。階級の解放と廃止というその思想は今なお受け継がれている。晩年は『資本論』の執筆に専念し、自宅の椅子に座ったまま死去(本データはこの書籍が刊行された当時に掲載されていたものです)

本書で「資本論」の全てを理解することは不可能ですが
概要を知るうえでは非常に優れていると思います。

「資本論」第1部の要素（商品と貨幣、剰余価値、資本の蓄積過程、資本主義の残酷さ）を盛り込みながら、安易に解説チックな堅い学習漫画にせず、難解な大著をよくぞここまで一貫した物語として仕上げた点、そこだけでも星5つの価値はアリだと思います。（でも絵柄の荒さでマイナス1としました）

哲学・思想書をストーリーマンガという新たな媒体に翻案した作品に、原書への完全な忠実を求めて批判することは簡単ですが、不毛な議論です。
今後も本シリーズの挑戦には注目したい。

資本論の本質は外れていないので、入門の入門として良いと思います。
ただ単にそれが足りていないだけであるのと、
内容のバランスに問題があるのだと思います。

商品の価値、労働の価値の根本などについて書かれているので、
20分で読める、入門の入門としては十分ではないでしょうか。

読んだ人が別物と感じるのは、
資本論の社会的背景が多く描写されているためではないでしょうか。
背景と資本論の内容とが、大体半分ずつぐらい書かれています。
ある程度、資本論を読んだ方は首をかしげてしまうのもうなずけます。

こういった時代の背景を感じながら読むことが出来るので、
入門の入門として良いと思います。
ただ、この本1冊の内容は資本論の内容の数十分の一しかないことも事実です。

ダニエルさんが、笑うセールスマンに似ていてゾッとしました。
人間にふさわしい「中間の暮らし」から、欲望や嫉妬に悩まされる世界へ誘惑する…。
金持ちになるべきか否か…。
世の中は、金持ちを目指すように、
そうした成功ノウハウ本であふれているので重なるものがおおい。
私も中間の暮らしでいいです。
といっても、今は中間というものすら崩れているのだった。
