とにかく読みづらかった。絵も話ももっと解りやすくしてほしかった。帯の言葉をみると日常の中にある非日常（だけど現実的な事件）を推理していくことを売りにしてるのに話がどんどん推理そっちのけのファンタジーになってしまってついてけなくなった。はじめのころの推理にしても犯人もトリックもわかりやすすぎて微妙。あとギャグは笑えないものが多くて微妙なのでなくていいと思った。

作画については抜擢した編集が使いどころを間違えている印象でした。
トーンを多用したころのCLAMPや藤崎竜の絵が好きな方には合いそうな、
画面の派手な魔法バトルファンタジー系が似合う絵の作家なのになぜ推理モノ・・・？

推理という地味になりがちな内容をファンタジーを交えた設定と絵、キャラクターの
華やかな見た目や独特の口癖、コミカルなノリで派手に飾ろうとした結果、
見辛いだけの画面、寒いギャグ、共感できないキャラクターというように悉く
失敗しているようにしか見えませんでした。

そして推理モノと書きましたが推理ものとして見れるのはこの巻の最初だけで、
その推理ものとしても簡単な謎解きばかりで金田一やコナン的な楽しみ方は出来ません。
途中からは突然方向を変えてなぜか巨大ゲーム大会になります。
乱暴な例ですがネウロから遊戯王に方向転換と言うとわかりやすいでしょうか。

絵柄やキャラクターが気に入れば買ってもいいかもしれません。
ですが真っ当な推理漫画として、もしくはファンタジーを交えた推理モノの前例として
同社の「スパイラル」がありますが、そのような面白さを期待すると痛い目にあいます。

絵はカラーはきれいだけど白黒になるとトーンが多くて見ててつかれる。
話は最初のほうの話が犯人やトリックがバレバレであまりたのしめなかった。
後半は段々よくなってきてるので今後面白くなるかもしれないけどこの巻だけだといまいち。
