面積図を使った解き方がとてもわかりやすく、字もきれいで役にたちました！
今までよくわからなかったニュートン算が、この本を読んで、わかるようになりました。
お勧めです。

算数の参考書ですが　手書きの解説と気持ちがほっこりするイラストで
勉強に疲れている子供にとって　心の栄養にもなりそうな一冊です。
内容は　さすがというか実際に教室で授業を受けている気分で読み進めていけます。
正直　今まで見たことのない参考書です。

私自身が中学受験経験者で、理系です。子どもに教えるために購入しました（まだまだ先の話ですが）。

私の時、中学受験の算数は方程式を使えず、かなり苦労しました。塾では方程式を使っている子もいましたが、なかなか解けずに苦労した記憶があります。

その時苦労したような問題も本書に載っていました。

比を使う方法や天秤算、ダイヤグラムや面積図を使った解法など、一つの問題に複数の解法が載っており、大変勉強になりました。普通の問題集には載っていない、分かりやすい解法で、目から鱗でした。

ただ、終わりの方の問題は、比を利用した解法しかない物もあり（本の題から行けばそれでいいのですが）、xやyを使わず○や△を使ってあるものの、方程式と同じかそれに近い物と感じられました。やはり、小学校の算数も高度な物は方程式無しでは解けない物だったのか・・・？という疑問が消せませんでした。方程式（に似たもの）を使わずに解ける方法が載っていると期待していたのですが。

良書だと思いますが、方程式に似た方法がちょっと残念で、☆4つです。本当は4.5個にしたい気持ちです。
