　自分が同性愛であるかどうか、悩み始めた時に読んだ本で、手っ取り早く同性愛の事を知るには最適な本でした。また、同性愛と言う事に誇りと自信を持たせてくれ、同性愛と言う事は恥ずかしい事では無く、個人のセクシュアリティとして当然の事ととして書かれてありました。ただ、読んで思った事は、同性愛である自分を受け入れられなかったので、書かれてあった肯定的過ぎる様な文章に戸惑いを感じたので、星を5つにはしませんでした。
　しかし、私は、この本のお陰で、カミングアウトに踏み切る勇気を得ました。

こんな本に思春期をのころ、出会えていれば良かったなと思います。この本に書かれている「同性愛は異常でも、変態でもない」などの、同性愛に関する正確な情報が、自分の性的指向に悩む同性愛者だけでなく、社会全体に広く伝わればいいなあって感じます。

また筆者以外の、当事者のライフヒストリーも掲載されていて、同性愛者の現状が多面的にわかる所もいいですね。僕は両親にカミングアウトしていませんが、もしする際にはこの本を両親に渡して、読んでもらいたいと思います。一家にぜひ一冊常備してもらいたい、そんな本です。

この本には同性愛に関する正しい情報が詰まってます。同性愛についての知識がない人もこの本を読めば、同性愛者が置かれている状況がわかることでしょう。いろいろな人にぜひ読んでもらいたいです。
