訳文もきちんとしているし、引き込まれます。うまく言えませんが、これは傑作です。わたしは、まあまあ、本は読んでいるほうだと思いますが、ちょっと経験したことのない感じでした。小説らしいストーリーもあるし、深さもあるし。誰にでも勧められるとは言えない（本をあまり読まない人には厳しいかも。）けれど、ここを読んでいらっしゃる方になら、ぜひとも通り過ぎないで欲しいと思います。記憶に残る一冊になるはずです。

愛らしいクマの表紙、タイトルのマグヌスは、そのぬいぐるみの名前。
そんな外観からは想像もつかない、深みを持った、心の奥に響く一冊。
嘘で塗り固められた過去を持つ、自分が何者かも知らない主人公。
その設定の鮮やかさ。そして、その後の展開も、小説を読む喜びを
ページごとに味あわせてくれる。
生涯のベスト１０に入るかもしれない、大切な本となりました。
