一見ふざけた本に見えますが、なかなかどうして本質を突いた指摘が満載されています。

本書は、まず大人の社会で大切なのは自分の演ずるべき役割を認識し役割に忠実であること、と説きます。じゃあ、どう演ずればいいの？という疑問に場面に応じた具体例を挙げて懇切丁寧に解説してくれています。

安っぽい本音より、累々と過去より積み重ねられてきた様式の方がよっぽど筋が通っている、と感じ入ること請け合いです。

要はなりきることが重要で、与えられた役割を場面に応じて楽しんだ者が勝ちっ、てことです！！

これから社会に羽ばたく新社会人と就職予定の学生さんにもお薦めです。

大まじめな顔をして、思いっきりふざけながら、 「大人とは何ぞや」 という哲学的な命題に鋭く迫る、大人による、大人のための、大人の本だ。

冠婚葬祭の「本当に実用的な」知識や、「真の大人」を目指す新入社員は必ず身につけておくべきビジネスマナーなど、ホットな話題が分かりやすい挿絵と「ふふっ」と小さく笑いそうになるコメント満載で説明されている。

この本を読んで笑うことができれば、かなりの大人だといっていいだろう。

もし、非の打ち所のない完全無欠の「大人」、もしくは逆に、図体は大人でもはしにも棒にかからない未熟な人間がいるとしたら、両者にはおそらく理解不能の笑いの世界がある。世の中の大半がその中間を漂いながら、浮世の細事に大いに心を惑わされ、右往左往しているのが世間の真実の姿ではなかろうか（と思いたい）。そして、その一人である私は本書を読んで限りなくほっっと安心するのである。 「ああ、大人って辛いんだよな~」な~んて苦笑いを浮かべながら・・・。 読み進めつつ、自分の中にも我を突き放した達観を発見し、ちょっとだけ「大人」になった気分になっていたとしたら、著者の思う壺である（多分）。
