MOEに連載していたときから楽しみにしていた物語「すきまのおともだちたち」。
会うのも別れるのも唐突で、いつでも会えるわけではないだけに、新聞記者の「私」と
旅先で出会った女の子とのいっぷう変わった友情は、せつなくてきらきらしている。
ファンタジックな物語だけれど、江國香織の恋愛小説とどこかつながっていて、
友情も恋愛みたいに、一緒に同じ星をみて、同じごちそうをたべて、すばらしい時間を
共有することなんだと思った。部屋のすきまに、こんなにちいさな女の子が暮らしていたら、
そして、ときどき会うことができたら、人生はすばらしいものになるだろうと思う。

　ふとした時に、現実の生活から心が離れて出会える世界がメルヘンタッチに描かれています。小さな女の子と擬人化しているお皿との出会いの中で主人公の新聞記者の女性はいろいろな事を学び、お互いに友情が生まれていきます。
　題材も内容もとても素敵だったのですが、特に私がお勧めなのはこみねゆらさんの絵です。色合いもいいし、とてもおしゃれな絵で、この本は手元において時々ながめて幸せな気分になりたいと思います。

小さい頃からお話が大好きだったり、
ふとした隙間の時間に自分だけの空想の世界に
飛んだりしていた人たちにお勧めの本です。
私達の普段住んでいる世界とは異なる世界を訪れてしまうヒロイン。
そこで築くオンナノコとの友情。
美しく優しい挿絵が印象的な大人のための絵本です。
