今までの村山さんとは一味違う、少し大人っぽい雰囲気をもった作品です（村山さん自身もそうおっしゃってますし）
どのお話も少し悲しく、そして美しさを秘めています。

読み終わったときはなんだか心が洗われれたようでした。この本の世界に心酔してしまっていました。わたしも「ねこしまさんのお話」が一番好きです。気がついたときには涙が零れていて、自分でびっくりしました。
ささやかな魔法を、なんだか信じてみたくなりました。

この本は、いろいろな、お店のお客さんたちが不思議なお話をしてくれます・・・。その中でも、私は「ねこしまさんのお話」と言うお話がとても気に入っています・・。とっても泣けるお話です。このねこしまさんとは猫で・・
あっこれ以上書くと全部書いちゃいそうなので、ここらへんで終わります。
読んでみてくださいね★★

この本に出会ったのは中学生の時で、表紙に惹かれて買いました。お話も絵とぴったりあっていてとても大好きでした。
今も何かに疲れてしまった時、ふとこの本を読むと心がとても安らいで懐かしく不思議な気持ちになります。
私にとってとても大切な大好きな一冊です☆
