5.0 out of 5 stars 女性としての「エレガンス」や「教養」など手紙の書き方にとどまらない本でした。, 2004/5/22
手紙の書き方にとどまらず、自分自身を振り返る指針となった一冊でした。
奥ゆかしさの中に凛とした気品が感じられる美しい文章に引き込まれるように読んだ後、５月の風のように爽やかな気持ちになりました。

教養ということについても、日々の生活の中での美意識についても、これまでただまっしぐらで突っ走っていた私に、立ち止まって考えることを気付かせてくれた本です。

これまでエレガンスとかマナー関係の本を読みあさっては、どれも「何かが違う」と感じていましたが、この本は自然体の本物のエレガンスを感じさせます。私が今まで「違う」と感じていたことは「上品ぶることの下品さ」みたいなものだったんだと思いました。
まずはきれいなたて書きの手紙を書ける人にならねば！！文中で薦められた本も早速読んでいます。

表紙の帯の明るい鴇色、アイボリーに鴇色のおしゃれ紋。
装丁がとても美しく、また文章の流れるようなすがすがしさ。
まろやかなかな文字を毛筆でかけるようになりたいと思わずには
いられない１冊です。
他にもお手紙についての本を持っていますが、この本は、押し付け
がましくなく、また見せびらかすようなところもなく、おくゆかしく

それでいてはんなりとしたきらめきをもっています。
文章で、選ぶ便箋、封筒、切手、そしてその文字で、その人をしのばせ
るお手紙の魅力をおしえてくれます。
