最初は最近流行のハンドメイド本かと思ったのですが
たくさんの作家さんが何ページかづつ自分達でデザインして作られた
ちょっと変わった本でした
ページにはそれぞれの個性が出ていて、作品作りのアイディアなどがいっぱい
しかも作家さんの一人一人が楽しんで本を作っているのが伝わってきて
とても共感できました
いつか自分もこの本の中に参加したいなと思える本です
個人的には作家さんオススメの検索サイトやボックスギャラリー情報が
役立ちました

まず５０人の。。。とありますが、ページを割いて暮らし方を紹介されている方は１０人ほどの方で、その他大勢の方はページをいくつかに分けてサイトの宣伝だけ。暮らしなんて見えません。
また、「作家」という言葉にそれなりの質を期待していましたが、作り方が紹介されているのは２０点弱。それも「スープマット」「ミニマット」→パッチワークしたランチョンマットのサイズ違いだったり、マフラー→２枚の細長い布を縫い合わせたものだったり、スカート→四角い布にゴムを通したものだったり。。。これが趣味ではなく「作家」として作った人の作品？？オリジナリティは？？あまりにも質が低く、びっくりしました。もっと上手な人がいるはずなのに。
５０人も取材すれば素敵な作品の作り方がいくつかあって、趣味の手作りも楽しくなるかと思ったのですが、期待はずれでした。
手作りをしている人のインテリアを取材した本はたくさん出ていますが、もしその手の本を見たことがない人なら楽しいかもしれないと思ったので星は２つにしました。
