筆者は、ゆとり世代の「わからない」というレベルを真に理解している、珍しい経済数学の書き手である。佐々木宏夫氏や西村和雄氏の経済数学本ですら挫折してしまった人の頼みの綱になること請け合いである。

とは言え（目線が非常に低いレベルに設定されているとは言え）、姉妹編も含め本書を完全にマスターすれば、中級レベルのミクロ経済学（武隈(1999)、奥野(2008)等）の教科書をなんとか独学で読むための最低限の数学的バックグラウンドが得られるはずだ。

ここまで簡略して経済数学を説明している本はすばらしい
正直まともに数学を勉強している中学生なら十分よみこなせる
