非常に読みやすくて分かりやすい良書。最初に商品相場の取引概要・しくみ等を理解したとする。「では具体的にどうして売買すればよいのか？」となるわけだが、その時点で真っ先に読むべきなのがこの本だと思う。内容は、一般の投資家が陥りやすい点、注意すべき箇所などが「本音」で書かれており、非常にためになる。実際の基礎売買の練習方法にも紙面が割かれており、具体的で分かりやすい。1回読んだくらいではダメ。何回か繰り返して読み、ポイントをノートにまとめたりするといい勉強になると思う。

　この本は商品相場だけじゃなく、様々な相場に適応できると思う。（実際自分はFXをやっているし。）そしてこの本は相場の天才は読まなくていいと思う。が、自分みたいな才能がなくても相場をやっていきたいと思う人は必須の本だと思う。
　相場をやっていくのに必要な能力として著者は次の2点を挙げている。

１変動感覚
　この本には変動感覚の養成の仕方が具体的に書かれている。大雑把に言うと、場帖とそのグラフを手書きで書くべきと書かれている。やるまえは「手書きでするなんて時代錯誤」と思っていた。が、そんな事を言える状況じゃなかったので本当に藁をも掴む思いで手書きでやってみると、やった者にしか分からないものが見え、感じれてくる。自分は今では相場の呼吸みたいなものを感じれるようになった。

２玉の操作
　本書ではナンピンの重要性が書かれている。巷に溢れている本には「ナンピンは危険だ」とよく書かれている。しかし手書きで場帖やグラフを作成して変動感覚を養成してしまえば、ナンピンが平均値を有利にもっていく、当て屋にならなくて済むなど危険どころか有利以外の何物でもないことが分かる。

１、２が共にできるようになると予想もしなくていいから、新聞も読まなくてよくなる。ただ、気をつけるのはストップオーダーを絶対に入れること。

　自分はFXをやっていて、この本のおかげで損を取り返し利益が出るところまできている。林輝太郎氏には心から感謝している。

初刊発行が1991年であり、読むとものすごく昔の話のように感じる。し
かし時代は変わっても色あせない相場の真理も随所に書かれており、は
っとさせられることが多い。手書きグラフは1枚200円のグラフ用紙で作れるのに、20万円のパソコンで描くグラフより観やすくて丸！
