こういう軽妙洒脱な文体を駆使する人が減ったね。
時代の流れかもしれないが、残念である。
さて、樋口有介だが、ファンの方には失礼を承知の上で、
「口直し、あるいはデザート」にぴったりだと思う。
肩がこらず、さらっと読めて、結構面白い。

さて、魔法を使う彼女は誰だったんだろう。

「中年男性の願望充足ファンタジー」などと言われるけれど、なかなかどうして、青春小説の爽やかさと、人生の半ばに差し掛かった（といっても３８歳など、まだまだ青春後期？）男性のしたたかな視線が交錯して、女性にもとても楽しいミステリ。

謎解きとして十分な展開の面白さはあるものの、本格的推理とは言えない面もありますが、主人公を始めとする人物描写の面白さ、草平の憎めない軽口は一級品。

どうやらカッコいいらしい主人公の人相風体が描写されていないので、勝手な想像ができるのも嬉しい。

愉快なだけでなく、シニカルの一歩手前で踏みとどまる草平の思考をなぞるのも面白い。

事件や謎解きというよりも登場人物（主に美女）とのやり取りが主で，
ややこしい話などなくさらりと進んできれいに終わる作品です．
が，二転三転する真相や，ちょっと笑えるラストなどが飽きさせません．
それに文章もすっきりしていてとても読みやすいです．

また，主人公のバツイチ探偵は，カッコいいセリフをよく吐くのですが，
少しはずしたところがあって，それが憎めずにいい雰囲気を出しています．

さてタイトルにある魔法を使ったという彼女．
作品内では具体的に誰がとか魔法の内容には触れられていません．
ですので，あとでいろいろと考えてみるとおもしろいのではと思います．
ただ『彼女』はたくさん出てきますのでなかなかむずかしいですよ．
