高校の時は微分積分で落ちこぼれました。
当時は「こんな事知ってても一生役に立たない」と捨てゼリフを吐いたものでしたが、まさか１５年後の仕事で必要になるとは夢にも思って居ませんでした。もう一度高２レベルからやりなおそうと決心し、恥を忍んでイラストが多く字の大きい本書を選びました。さまざまな物理量が微分積分で判ることに楽しみを覚えられます。ラプラス関数もとても判り易い方法で説明されてます。
おかげで１種レベルの計算問題も解けるようになり、１６年度一次試験で計算問題が激減した時は、試験中に憤慨したほどです。

私自身，高校時代は，微分積分も解けたが，30歳をすぎるとその数学力もさびていたが，この本に出会って，解けるようになった。
実際，電気でよく使う数学に絞って詳しく解説されており，特に，ラプラス変換などは，わかりやすい。
電験２種のバイブル本と思います。

5.0 out of 5 stars 52歳のチャレンジャーの期待に応えた良書, 2009/6/27
高価な本ですが、それ以上に価値のある本です。
三角関数からラプラス変換まで最低学ぶべき範囲とこれ以上は学習する必要のない範囲も明示されており、電験第二種が射程範囲に入りました。
改訂第二版まで続くロングセラーとなった世の中に残すべき良書です。
