ミュージカル「キャッツ」を観たことのある人なら、この詩集は分りやすいのではないでしょうか。
詩のニュアンスが四季版「キャッツ」と微妙に違い、また登場しない猫が出てきたりと、それはそれで楽しめます。キャッツの世界により深く浸るための一冊だと思います。

　キャッツに登場するネコたちが原作のこの本にたくさんでてくる。
　この本に出てこないネコもいるが、ここは劇を見てのお楽しみ。
　四季のネコたちが２倍に素敵になる。また、劇を見終わったあと
また読むとさらに２倍楽しめる。オススメ

ＣＡＴＳの舞台を見たことがある人（もしくはCD、DVDなどで既に知っている人）なら、益々ＣＡＴＳの世界が深まると思います。
あの歌は本当に原作の詩に忠実に作られているんだなぁと、びっくりするかもしれません。

丁寧に注釈がつけられているので、英語の語感を楽しむように書かれている部分などもわかりやすくなっていると思います。特に猫の名前については「あ、なるほどね」と思わせる部分が多かったです。
