「持たない！」生き方とは！？　一体どういうことだろう。
肩書きや、ものも所有しない潔さが、新しい人生の第一歩であると言う
…
果たして、何もかもを捨て去ることが、本当の幸福への近道と成りうるのか？
まずは、そんな疑問を抱きながら読み進んでみた。

確かに、今の世多くの人が、肩書きやお金を稼ぐことこそ
真のステータス・シンボルと信じて、こだわってきたに違いない。
だが、定年を境に一転、肩書きが無くなればただの人。
家族のためとは言いながら、なにもかも犠牲に仕事に打ち込んできた割には、家族からは疎まれる…
なんとも惨めで悲しい人生のような気がする。

本書では、そんな何の意味をも持たないものへの執着心を全て捨て去り
人生の後半、いかに自由に満足できる生き方を追い求めていけるのかを
提案、助言してくれている。

人に頼らず、極力身軽に自由気まま、これからの人生を謳歌できる
新しい幸福への入り口に、入っていける勇気を持ちたいものだ。

誰もがもつ人生最大の夢？であり最大の買い物である持ち家。
著者はそれを｢もたない！｣言う。はて？と思うが読み進めるうちに
なるほどとうなずける。他にも数々の｢もたない！｣が登場する。
６０才も過ぎて｢変える｣というのはなかなか勇気のいることであろう。
しかし、あえて今までの考えを捨てること、新たなものに挑戦すること
に大きな意味があることを実感した。確かに、寿命が決まっていれば
それほど楽なことはない、平均２０００万円残して死んでしまうことも
ないのだから・・・。この本を読んだときにぜひ両親に読んでほしいと
思った。なかなか変えることのできる年ではないが、刺激的なのでは
ないだろうか？私は我慢の？４０代ではあるが本書でいろいろな情報を
得ることができこれからの人生を多いに楽しまなくてはならない・・。
がしかし、決して頑張り過ぎないことも大切であると実感した。
充実の内容なので簡単にまとめるのは難しいが老いも若きもこれからの
人生を見つめ直せる一冊である。

定年後の生き方は、持たない　気楽でシンプルな人生のススメ　とあり参考に読んでみた。
タイトルから、ゆったりした田舎生活のような悠々自適の老後をイメージしたが、
医学博士だけに脳を活性化させた老化のない人生を楽しむ活動的な提案がある。
持ち家にこだわらない　などやや独断的で賛成できないところや、あたりまえのことが多いが、
医学的な見地や、脳の活性化での生き方には共感できる。
新しい体験、好奇心で、自分のために金も自分も使い切り、老化のない幸福な人生を送り、
社会に自分の存在感を示せ　と　百趣味ライフに生かせる内容だ。

『持たない』生き方から、内容が外れているみたい。目新しいところもなかったし、話の寄せ集めであった。字が大きいので、１〜２時間で軽く読める。
