怖いのは、ホラー系統は苦手なわたしなんですけど、何気なく読んでみると・・・じわっと染み込んでくる怖さにぶるっとしたりしたんですが、面白かったです。
一番ほっとするのは『敵持ち』でした★
一番好きな話は『お墓の下まで』です☆
それぞれに言えない秘密がどんどん明かされて、どの話にもいえたのが、展開が予想のつかないということでした。
宮部作品はこれが初めてだったのですが・・・あっぱれです/(^0^;)

　ちょっと怖くていやな後味を残す「かどわかし」「堪忍箱」。逆に市井の訳あり浪人が鮮やかな手際で問題を解決し、さわやかな後味の「敵待ち」。プラトニックな想いが、よどんだ深みでキラッと光る「砂村新田」。
　さまざまな貧乏長屋の暮らしを足がかりに、江戸をこよなく愛する宮部さんの、お得意８編の人情小噺。「十六夜髑髏」は、省略が多くて謎が残る。でもまあ人生、江戸の昔から謎ばっかりでさぁね。

最初の数編を読んで「今回は外したかな……」と思った。「人は誰でも人には言えない秘密がある」というテーマの連作としての狙いは分かるのだが、表題作含めて終わり方に切れがない。しかし五作目に至り「お墓の下まで」でそのテーマが生き生きと浮かび上がり、「謀りごと」では終わり方の切れ味鋭く、「てんびんばかり」はこの短編集の中ではマイベストになった。結局、この本は後半に名作が詰まっているなかなか充実した短編集なのである。
