5.0 out of 5 stars 大変な仕事から得た 「教訓」 は説得力が違う！, 2009/6/18
買って正解でした。いわゆるブログ本ですが、エッセイというより、明るく前向きにしてくれる「啓発本」のジャンルのような気がします。なにより辛い仕事の極地のような現場で、毎日体を張って作業をしている方であるにもかかわらず、明るい文体で笑いどころも多いのがなのがいいです。

話の終わりに１〜２行ほどの【教訓】が設けられているのですが、エピソードを読んだ後のそれは、もの凄く説得力があります。口だけで仕事をしているエセ・スピリチュアリストに爪の垢でも煎じて飲ませたい・・・

感銘を受けたところを１つだけあげれば、教訓のところの、美とは「調和」バランスである、という指摘です。デザインの仕事をしている私にとって、この指摘は「値千金！」。どこかで使ってみたい忘れられないフレーズになりました。

また納棺師のテクニック的な解説や、ブログ読者からの質問・回答も豊富に書かれているので情報価値もかなり高いと思います。

一見サブカルチャー本かと思えるタイトルですが、中谷彰宏氏がご自身のサイトで紹介していただけあり気づきを多く与えてくれた本でした。経験談が４０話以上語られていますがどれも興味深い題材なので最後まで一気に読めます。死を扱った本だけに逆説的に「生きていることのありがたさ」と「時間の大切さ」に気づかされます。

１つのトピックが４〜５ページなので、とても読みやすいです。

納棺師というと、とても重くてマジメな書き方をしている
イメージがあるのですが、この本はその真逆です。

　　●闘病後の故人様について(1)ガリガリ編
　　●闘病後の故人様について(2)ぷくぷく編

など、目次からしてかなり読みやすいタッチです。

不謹慎かもしれませんが、途中、笑ってしまうような
文章がとても多いです。

それについては、憤りを感じる方もいらっしゃると思いますが、
死を扱う職業の一面として読んでもらえたらいいのでは
ないかなと思います。

「亡くなった方の処理ってこうやるんだ」と、
知らないことばかりの本でした。

値段もお手頃なので、通勤やすき間時間に読むには
とってもいいかもしれません。
