「難関大ご用達の本」というイメージがあり、国立志望の私には関係の無い本だ。と思っていたのですが、長文の成績が全く安定せず、不安な毎日を送っていました、ふと気になり買って使ってみると、最初から最後までできない人はどこがいけないのかを知り尽くしたような説明が繰り返されていて、強制的に今までのいい加減な読み方が修正されていっていると感じています。単語も文法も解釈も勉強したのに点が取れない、という人はやはり一度こういう本に書いてあることを身につけるべきだと思います。「どうすれば良いのか」が分かります。

文章を読む正しい姿勢が身につきます。
実際に海外で勉強してみてとても役に立っています。
TOEFL受験やその他の試験対策にも有効ですね。

　中澤氏と言えばOSPのパラグラフリーディングが有名ですが、パラグラフリーディングを習ったことの無い人でも、この本は長文読解の練習書として大変役に立つと思います。この本は「どうしてこのような解答になるのか」、そして「どうすればそのような解答を出せるようになるのか」ということを徹底的に解説しており、全く疑問点が残りません。１５００円の本ですが、予備校の夏期講習で何万円も払うよりもこの本で勉強した方が良いかもしれません。

ただし、英文そのものの詳細な解釈に関してはあまり扱っていないので、文法や構文に関しての基本的な知識が不足している人は手を出さない方が良いでしょう。また、長文の記述問題はほとんど扱っていませんので、国立大学志望の方は本書の他に記述問題集を??った方が良いでしょう。だからと言って本書が国立大学志望者の役に立たないわけではありません。
