かなりのボリュームでこの本一冊マスターすれば、一般的な大学入試における
広い意味での文法の体力は取り敢えず完成したと考えて問題ないでしょう。

ただ、この本は解説が少ないのが難点です。

基本的な文法をきちんと理論建てて身に付けておき
各文法分野が体系的に頭に入ってから始めた方がよいでしょう。
いきなりこの本から始めても単に知識が増えるだけで
結果として点数には結びつきにくいと考えられます。

基礎が固まった後、「演習兼知識のアップ」の候補として挙がる一冊ではないでしょうか。

よい点と悪い点をいくつか。
・文法ごとに問題が羅列されていないので、単元から答えを連想できないようになっている。
　→一般の分野分けされた問題だと連想が可能でわかっていると思いがちな部分があります。

・勉強をしていないと難しい。
・無駄に重複した問題もなく、これは頻出だと思える問題が選りすぐられている。
　→ですから、勉強したことが身についているかの確認にも使えますし、最初からこの本で構文や熟語を覚えることも可能です。

・根気がいる
　→少々難度が高い（やってしまえばそれは基本的なことになるのでしょうが）ので、問題数が多いと苦手な人は特に挫折しがちです。
　最初から律儀に進めなくてもいいので好きな所から気軽にやりましょう。私は口語→文法→構文、随所で語彙・アクセント、という風に進めました。

それから1280円+税という値段ですから、買って損はありません。

この参考書は現役生なら２年の後半から３年のはじめまでには始めたいものだと思います。
自分は学校の勧めもあり１年の頃はForestで文法をたたき込み、Next Stageで演習をし、そして英頻で総仕上げをしました。これがこなせれば文法事項に関しては、早慶レベルも問題ないと思います。
