この本の著者は｢保険評論家｣だそうだが、悪い冗談はやめにしてもらいたい。
｢告知義務違反は2年で時効と考えられる｣とのことだが、約款のどこにそのようなことが書いてあるのか。私はそのような記述を見たことがない。
2年とは、保険会社が｢告知義務違反｣を理由に保険契約を一方的に解除できる期間の限度に過ぎない。
つまり、告知義務違反に｢時効｣などは存在しないのだ。ウソという猛毒を世間様に垂れ流すのはやめにしてもらいたい。

筆者は自身のアンケートに回答しなかった保険会社を勝手に｢思い当たることがあるのでは｣などとこき下ろしているが、所詮は推論でしかない。根拠なき推論は単なる誹謗中傷である。

日本生命保険がアフラック並の安い医療保険を出さないのは営業職員の給与に原因があるとも｢自説｣を述べているが、これも大外れである。日生からすれば、死亡保障保険の保険料算出に用いる｢標準死亡率｣のように共通した統計が固まっていない医療保険はリスクが高いため、給付金の支払急増に備え保険料を高めに設定せざるを得ないである。

営利企業である保険会社が作り、そして販売する「医療保険」は、保険会社にとっても、購入者にとっても商品である。消費者は良いモノを見抜く眼力が必要である。そういう眼力を養うには良書。医療保険そのものを否定するのではなく、営利企業である保険会社の口車に乗らないための知識獲得のための書。

CMのイメージをそのまま、保険会社にもたれている方は衝撃を受けて、
卒倒するだろう。
これだけ、実名をあげでも、訴訟問題等、保険会社が起こさないのは
やはり、書かれていることが事実としか思えない。
特に、外資系の保険会社の「手口」にはかなりの疑問と憤りを感じたのは私だけだろうか？
こういうことがまかり通っている事自体、日本国民が外資の「植民地」と言われても誰も反論できないのでは・・・。
