今回の舞台は歯医者さん。
歯医者恐怖症の女子大生･咲子はひょんなことから夏休みの間だけ
歯科医で受付のバイトをすることに…。
個性的な医師や衛生士、技工士たちとお客様（患者）の問題を
解決していく…というお話。
坂木さんの小説はいつもやさしい人たちがいっぱいで、人間まだまだ
捨てたもんじゃない、と思えるから好きです。
今回は初の女性主人公で、ホームズ役の技工士･四谷とのロマンスも見もの。
ただ、終わりがちょっとあっけないような気がしました。
まだ続くからかなあ…。

大学生のサキが、お母さんの策略で大嫌いな歯医者の受付でバイトをするハメになることから
物語がスタート。
そのバイトは期間限定で夏休みだけですが、叔父・唯史さんが勤めているところでもあると
いうことで、断るきっかけを逃して働き始めます。
そして、そこで歯医者嫌いの認識が変わっていくようなできごとが起こります。
その内容は、

　・苦悩が深くて歯医者さんをダシにする「シンデレラ・ティース」
　・悪気ない一言がきっかけでマイナス思考「ファントムＶＳ．ファントム」
　・ナンパにご用心「オランダ人のお買い物」
　・恋する乙女心が揺れに揺れる「遊園地のお姫様」
　・心配ご無用「フレッチャーさんからの伝言」
　
の５つ。
一人称での物語りなので、読み始めはちょっとキツイと感じましたが、主人公サキがバイトを
始めてからは、ぐぐっと物語に引き込まれていきます。

歯医者さんって、あの独特の音と治療中の痛みから嫌いな人って大多数だと思うけど、この本を
読むと、ちょっと認識が変わるかも・・・・・。
そんな気がするくらい良い歯医者のスタッフたちと、素直で前向きで一所懸命なサキちゃんが
素敵です。

自分のタイトルだけの印象ではティースを涙と解釈していたので
第１話を読んで「歯」じゃん！！と自己突込みをしました。
ありえないくらい勘違いしていました。

内容は読みながらもだえるような恋愛模様でした。
なんとなくくっつきそうだなと思っていたら案の定くっついた・・・。
いえ、それが悪いわけではないですが・・・。
ナンパの注意点などある意味勉強にもなったりｗ
個人的にはお色気歯科衛生士のお姉さまの性格と、変な院長、
探偵歯科技工士の指の描写が好きでした。

行っていた学校に歯科衛生士さんの学科があったので
なんか親しみのおけるジャンルでした。
基本的には、ホテルジューシーとリンクしている部分があり、
読みながらにやけていました。
坂木さんの温かい雰囲気の描写はそのままで良かったです。
