「会議」とは、普段よく耳にする言葉だが、社会人になりたての私にとっては未経験のものであるし、とても内容として新鮮なものであったと感じた。本書では、「会議」に対する問題や、それの解決法、具体例等が細かく述べられており非常に読み応えがあった。

本書に書いてあることは説得力のある説明が多く、記録係の重要さについても存分に学ぶことが出来た。本質的には、時間を共有することの意味や、人と会話をすること意味が分かると思う。これから社会人として様々な会議に出席するであろうが、今後役に立つことは間違いない。私のような新米にうってつけの一冊である。

これは管理職の方々にこそ是非とも読んでもらいたい一冊。
われわれがいかにつまらない会議を日常行っているか、おきまりの「枠」を壊したところに新しい何かがある、ただそれを壊す勇気が皆にない。。。etc.　　もろもろのことを痛感させられます。

単にやり方の紹介にとどまらず、その背景となる考え方も書かれ、最後には「そんな新しい会議をはじめるのには勇気がいるが。。」といった面倒見のよい1冊となっていて、おすすめです。
この本からアイデアを得て、ワークショップなど開いたことがありますが、非常に有意義かつ創造的なものになりました。

斎藤孝氏の『会議革命』は日本の会議に確かに革命を起こすかもしれません。でもあれは革命というよりはクーデターですね。

この会議の技法はより丁寧にまとめ上げられています。

序章で「会議社会」を取り上げ、本論では準備、開始、運営、発表、シェア、終わり方、必要なスキルなど細かに描いています。もちろん、その中には人間としてのリスペクトや、愛情が感じられます。

２１世紀を変えていくのは人間のシナジーです！一人一人が独自にやるのではなく、１＋１＋１＋１＝５ or more!の社会を築いていきましょう。
