藤山 新太郎
1954年東京大田区生まれ。プロマジシャン。(社)日本奇術協会副会長。伝統的な日本奇術「手妻」の継承者。88年、94年に文化庁芸術賞、98年に文化庁芸術祭大賞を受賞。海外でも、マジックオブザイヤー・ビジティングマジシャンに二度選ばれている。お囃子に紋付袴で舞台に立ち、「水芸」「浮かれの蝶」などの古典奇術の多くを得意とする。日本に来訪する賓客の前でひんぱんに手妻を披露したり、海外公演を数多くこなしている(本データはこの書籍が刊行された当時に掲載されていたものです)
