4.0 out of 5 stars キャラクターたちの影がくっきり！, 2004/9/25
ひとつの謎を追いかけた前作「しゃばけ」とは違い、
こちらは幾つもの事件を集めた短編集。
もちろん、前作でたくさんのファンを獲得した
主人公ほかのキャラクター達は健在で、
さまざまな活躍をみせてくれます。
エピソードをふやしたことによって、
畠中恵ワールドがより豊かに楽しくなりました。
これを読んで「江戸に行ってみたい！」（ムリですが）と
思った読者もいるのでは？・・私は思いました。

シリーズ3作目の「ねこのばば」はまだ読んでいませんが、
わかだんなのお兄さんの今後がとても知りたくなりました。

病弱で、両親と妖（あやかし）たちから溺愛され、心配される
長崎屋の若だんな、一太郎。何かっつうと寝込んでしまう若だんな。
芯が強くて情に厚い、とても人間味のある性格なんだな。
普通の人間には見えない妖たちや、普通の人間のふりをしている
大妖（たいよう）のふたり、佐助と仁吉の手助けもあって、

お江戸の事件の謎を解き明かしてしまう利発ぶり。
そんな若だんなの一太郎と、周囲の妖たちや人間たちとの心が通い合う
様子に、気持ちをやわらかく解きほぐしてしてもらいました。

小鬼の姿をした鳴家（やなり）、付喪神の屏風のぞき、手代にして大妖の
犬神と白沢それぞれのキャラの、おかしみを誘う風情がいいですねぇ。

飄々として、この世の人間たちとは考え方がどっかずれているおかしみ。
あちこちで、くすりとしながら読んでいきました。
宮部みゆきさんの時代もの、『あかんべえ』なんかがお好きな方でしたら、
きっと楽しく読めるんじゃないかな。

話の、なかでも、「空のビードロ」「仁吉の思い人」「虹を見し事」の
各短編が心に残りました。

前作『しゃばけ』を読むと若だんなと妖たちとの距離感やなんかが、
「なるほどお」と掴めるから、『しゃばけ』→『ぬしさまへ』の順に
読んでいったほうがより楽しめるでしょうか。
でも、本書だけ読んでも、作品のほっこりとしたあたたかさ、
若だんなと妖たちのキャラの飄々、とほんとしたおかしみが
堪能できるでしょう。

病弱若だんなと妖怪たちの推理帖第二弾。面白かったです。
しかし何より装丁が好きです。
ハードカバーではなく、厚手の表紙が貼ってあって
なんだか江戸時代の絵草子のような、そんな感じをうけます。
見たことありませんが…。
昔の本はこんなだったのかなと思います。
そして、ぜひカバーをとってください。
カバーをとると、鳴家たちがアクロバティックに文字を作っています。
近くで見るとなにがなんやらわかりませんが
ちょっと離してみると　ほう　なるほど　と。
凝った作りで、作った人たちの愛情が感じられます。
大切にしたくなります。
