本多 孝好
1971(昭和46)年、東京生れ。神奈川県で育つ。大学4年のときに書いた短編「眠りの海」が’94(平成6)年小説推理新人賞を受賞。’99年短編集『MISSING』を刊行。2000年版の「このミステリーがすごい!」で10位にランクインし、注目を浴びる(本データはこの書籍が刊行された当時に掲載されていたものです)

6年前に恋人を亡くし、潜在的に心に傷を負ってしまった
主人公。
なんとなく週末の時間をプールでつぶすところから
偶然の出会い。
はじめは、ウォーミングアップするかのようにゆっくりと
進む物語は、会話のテンポがあがると供に徐々に動き出す。

動き出したその次が知りたくなるA面。

本多先生の本はほとんど読んでいますが、僕の中ではこれが一番ですね。文章構成からセリフまで全てに引き込まれました。そして何よりも感性がすごいですね。読み終えた後の感動はそれによるところが大きいと思います。オススメの一冊ですよ。

読んでいて、主人公の感情面が物凄く馴染んだ恋愛小説。
別に似ているというわけではないのだが、嫌に理解が行って、気味が悪かったほど。
だけど、行動面は物凄く違和感を覚えた。

日常に疲れてて、フィクションに逃避したい時に読むのが好いかも。
文章も読み易い。
