今回もまた、これでもかというピンチの連続。しかも、なつかしのドーン城が落とされようとしている。すっかり頼もしくなったランドルだが、次々と訪れる難局に体力は尽き、味方も倒されて、気力だけで切り抜けてゆく。ハラハラドキドキの連続で、とにかく、読むしかない！

　これが最終巻。あとがきにも原作はこれで終わりと書いてある。でも、でもでも、是非是非続きを書いて欲しい。
　ハリーポッターの後、ファンタジーが続々と翻訳されたが、これはなかでもお勧めできる作品。ファンタジー好きなら要チエック。

１巻目からランドルと共に旅をしてきたストーリーも終焉を迎えます。読み終えて思うと１巻目からこの最終章への布石がいくつもありました。展開が速いので謎のまま残っていた部分も今回はっきりと解決します。最初のページからどんどん惹き込まれてハラハラドキドキの連続、さらにオールキャスト勢ぞろいって感じのラストまで一気読みしてしまいました。ラストは色々な名場面を思い出しながら読んでしまいました。ハリーポッターなどの原点とも言われてるこのシリーズは絶対に必見です。
ランドル、リース、ウォルターの旅をもっと見たいというリクエストに答えてか、ハリー・ポッターなどのファンタジーブームに刺激されてか分からないけど、１４年ぶりに続編が発売されました。ファンとしては２度とランドルと旅を出来ないと思っていたところに最高のプレゼントになりました。

友人に薦められて手にとった第1巻。最初は、ハリポタ人気に生じて増えた
魔法物、という感をぬぐえず多少まがった読み方をしていました。
ですが、読み終わるころにはただの魔法ものだけではない、少年の心の成長、
そして信頼できる人と築く友情の世界に思わず引き込まれました。
今タイトルで最終巻。楽しみにしていて、少し残念で。

3冊を通して描く魔法使い見習い少年ランドルの、不器用ながら
一生懸命正しいことをするという精神、それを取り巻く人々の支え、
もちろんストーリーのおもしろさ、どれをとっても最高でした。
まだ読んでいない方、今度は私が進める番！ぜひ読んでください。
