吉田秋生（あきみ）と言う人は、不思議な漫画を描く人だな。
初出を見ると、少女コミックばっかしだから、女流漫画家、と言うことになるんだけど、僕はかなり好きです。
どの作品も懐かしい風景で、少し胸がきゅんとなるような甘酸っぱい気持ちになります（あああ、５０過ぎたおっさんの言うことではないですが！）。
この作品集では、特に前半の「楽園のこちらがわ」「楽園のまん中で」がいいです。
不思議な人だなぁ。男の心理を実にうまくつかんでいる。そんな作品を少女コミックに載せるところが面白いね。

好きな人と思いが通じて、ハッピーになったはずなのに、
どこかひとすじ流れるさみしい気持ちが、初めて読んだ当時と
どんぴしゃでした。

こんな気持ちは女性は必ずあるでしょう。
こういうところって、男の人にはわかんないんだろうな、とも。

絵は少々時代的にも古っぽいですが、お話がいいのです。
「もうあのころにはもどれない」、あの感じ。

漫画自体初心者で、この漫画は友達に勧められて購入しました。

最初に感じたのはとても切ない感覚です。友人や、家族などのありがちな日常を描いているのですが、それがとても繊細に描かれているのでびっくりしました。この本はいくつかの短編集からなるオムニバス形式です。私がもっとも心を打たれたのは、文庫のタイトルにもなっている「夢みる頃をすぎても」という短編のラストの場面で、ガラスの靴を履き好きな人とステップを踊りたいという漠然とした理想を語るところです。そこで、主人公はこうも思います。「みんなガラスの靴をはきあやういステップを踏んでいる」（p.197）みんな、あやういステップを踏んでいる。私たちも一回限りのかけがえのない人生を、取り返しのつかない時間の中で日々、ガラスの靴をはきあやういステップを踏んでいるのでしょう。流行りの歌で、つないだ手を離したくないという表現がよく見られますが、これは、つないだ手を離すと相手がどこかに行ってしまうかもしれない。どこにも行ってもらいたくない。この時間が永遠に続いてほしいという気持ちの表現でしょう。しかし、時間は流れ、現実は変わる。その変わりゆく現実の時間の中で、私たちはガラスの靴をはきあやういステップを踏んでいるのでしょう。。

いつになったら、美しく踊ることができるのでしょうか（＾＾；）。
