5.0 out of 5 stars 衝撃の結末といよいよ...., 2009/11/6
この巻でDIO＆ホット・パンツと大統領との対決が始まります。
個人的には第１部/第３部のボスだったDIO(実際は別次元のDIOだと思うが)と７部のボスであろう大統領との対決とあってすごくわくわくしてました。
実際内容も２/３程費やしており２点３点する怒濤の流れと以外な結末に興奮しました。
けっこうショッキングです。

また、ジョニィの能力にも変化の兆しが現れ、今から次巻がとても待ち遠しいです。
「さすが荒木さん」と言わざる終えない内容で大変満足です。


そして今巻の終わりにもありますが、いよいよジャイロ＆ジョニィもあとはレースのゴールと遺体奪取、ルーシーの救出に向けての
ラストバトル＋雑魚戦だけとなり、ついにクライマックスへとさしかかってきた感じです。


ラストバトルに向けて、ジャイロとジョニィとのお互いの秘密を言い合う→最後の絶対に言うなよのやり取りも何とも言えず良かったです。
今巻に限らずですが、遺体を敵に泣く泣く渡した後のワインを飲むなどのような味わい深いシーンや
ただ単にパワーアップしてより強い敵を倒すといったマンガと違い、レースが進むにつれて精神的にも強く成長していくところがあるのも個人的に７部の好きなところです。


残る巻数もおそらく少なく数える程だと思うと残念ですが、荒木さんにはこのままの勢いで頑張って欲しいです。

D4Cの能力には物質と反物質の対消滅、多世界など宇宙論や量子論のアイディアが詰め込まれていて驚きました。
また、それを絵にして表現しようとする挑戦にも。
すごい才能だと思います。主人公がどうやって戦っていくのか、楽しみです。(@kuwako)

ホット・パンツと手を組んだDioと大統領との戦いが中心の巻です。やられっ放しだった前回の戦いとは一転し、今度はD4Cの弱点を把握したDioが猛然と大統領に襲い掛かります。この戦いはジョジョ史における名勝負のひとつだと思います。物語としてもクライマックスへ向けて加速している印象を受けました。ルーシーに起こる異変、全て揃った遺体、レースの行方。結末は一体どうなるのか？最後にジャイロとジョニィは「一番の目的」を見出し、戦いに赴きます。物語の完結まで単行本の冊数にして残り少ないと思いますが、SBRという作品のゆくえが非常に気になる巻でした。

最後となりましたが、今回の主役はDioでした。これほど感情をむき出しにしたDioは初めてだと思います。昔から悪のカリスマのようなキャラでしたが、同時に孤独と悲しさも抱えていることを初めて感じました。この巻を読んで益々Dioというキャラクターが好きになりました。
