上司は思いつきでものをいうので、気にする必要はないという。
ここはずばりだと思った。

それ以降は、だんだんぐだぐだになっていくような気がした。
上司が思いつきでいったら、自分はなにをするとよいのだろう。

結局自分で考えないといけないのだろう。

あなたは上司があまりにも、思いつきでものを言うことに腹を立てたり、唖然としたり、馬鹿じゃないかと思ったことはないだろうか？

なぜ、上司が思いつきでものを言うのか？
その理由がこの本には紹介されている。

上司はすでに現場の人間ではない。会社側の人間である。しかし、上司であっても、実際には命令する権限や物事を決める権限もない。なぜなら、上司にはそのまた上司がいるからだ。そうするとあなたの直属の上司の役割は、命令する存在ではない。育成する、育てる役割を持っているはずなのである。ただ、あなたの上司は現場から乖離したポジションで会社側からものを言ってくる。
あなたは、現場に根ざしたところからものを言う。上から下へ流れる風、下から上へ流れる風。この風同士が理解し合うことはまず無い。

上司の心は複雑だ。自分はすでに現場の人間ではない。権限もない。団塊の世代は、だぶついている。組織内は逆ピラミッドだ。意味のない存在になっていることもある。そこに部下から質問やら提案がある。正直嫉妬や焦りもある。なんとか、自分の存在をアピールしたい。そこで、訳の分からないことを言って、相手を動揺させる。「どうだ、私はまだまだおまえらを動揺させる程度の力はあるんだぞ」と、たちの悪い満足感を得る。これが思いつきでものを言う上司の正体である。

では、そんな上司に対する対応策は？
・馬鹿かもしれない上司を馬鹿にしない。
ことがまず大事。
これは
・馬鹿かもしれない親を馬鹿にしない。
と同じことである。
経済的に独り立ちする前は、自分の親に生活を依存せざるを得ない。

その親が馬鹿だったら、不安になるし怒りも覚える。
上司との関係はこれと同じ。

だから、上司が馬鹿でも大丈夫な位実力を蓄えておく。

そして、上司がまぬけなことを言ったときには「呆れる」。これを思いっきり表現する。そうすることで、上司を教育することができる。
呆れられる位、知性を高めておく必要がある。

あほかもしれない、馬鹿かもしれない上司に怒りを覚えるよりも、自分が現場と密接に対話し、実力を高めていくことである。

そう思うことって多い。このタイトルでは思わず手に取ってしまう。まずはこのタイトルの勝利。これについても論理的な説明があり、普段漠然と思っていたことに理由がつき、納得がいった。対処法に関しては納得がいくものの、えーっ、てな感じかな？後半やや論理が飛躍しすぎているような気がして、話のピントがぼけてきたところで、最後に強引にうっちゃられてしまった。
