心にぱっかり　穴が空いているような虚しさ、悲しさ・・・満たされない何か
そういうものに押しつぶされそうな気がしている時に巡り会うと　涙で読めなくなります。　まず、自分にできることから始めよう。
少し元気になれました。

　私はこの映画を見て次のように思いました。変化を恐れない柔軟な心に私もなりたい！と。パッチは信念を曲げず、先を見据え行動をおこしました。

　温かいまなざし、言葉、心のこもった行動は、多くの人々に勇気と愛とを与えていきました。「見えるものだけを見るな。見えないものを見るんだ」この言葉は、「接する人々の心の奥底に潜んでいる、誰かに気づいて欲しい気持ちに気づいて見ろ」と言っているように思えます。人として何が大切かというと、見た目（見える部分）ではありません。パッチの生き様は、私にそう教えてくれた気がします。
